Hello! My name is Janen Rodriguez from the Philippines. You can call me Janen. I’m thirty four years old. We are seven in the family including my parents. I also have ten nephews and nieces that I cherished the most. In my free time I usually want to go to places like near the ocean and watch the sea while listening to my favorite songs. I also watch Netflix on television, my favourite movies are Ghibli Japan anime, Korean dramas and even romantic comedy movies. I’m a simple person, usually quite and shy. I used to work at Hiroshima ken for a year as a laundry presser way back on 2016~2017. Now I’m back at Japan here in Ishikawa ken this year 2025 working as a caregiver. Working as a caregiver from the start was quite hard but when you have a colleagues that is helpful and teaching you well , the work is getting much lighter everyday. Caregiving is a tiring work physically but whenever I see the faces of the elderly, smiling and being cheerful everyday it makes me smile and those body pains and tiredness that I felt seems to disappear. Japanese language is really difficult but I’m thankful to where I am today, because the people around me at work are understanding and helpful. I always put in mind that taking care of the elderly is like taking care of my own family. And I think that makes the work a lot lighter.
